City for Illustration Friday
I don't do a lot of city drawing or painting, so for inspiration, I dug through some old photos I took while in Spain. I chose this one from Zaragoza and tried to simplify so I could finish before getting frustrated.
I think it's a beautiful painting. You have a real gift, and I like the painting even better than the photo, because there's more for the eye to take in, and you're not caught up in the many details. I think it's gorgeous.

Wonderful painting, very warm and inviting. It feels like quite a historical place.
It is beautiful! I can't tell that you simplified it, as it looks amazing!
