Rainy desert day kept me indoors, but I love watching the mountain disappear into the clouds. That's how we judge how serious the weather is. By the time I finished this tiny little landscape the mountain was mostly invisible and the rain was coming down steadily. I tried to lighten up parts of it, but then remembered I didn't use the good watercolor paper. I would try this one again a few more times.

I think it is beautiful. I was surprised that you get so much rain in the desert. Just goes to show how much I know about my own country!
Sorry I'm late visiting. It was a busy day and it still isn't over.
That should have read how much I DON'T know! I think I'm sleep deprived, so will repeat how much I like this watercolor painting.
I love this! It makes me feel safe, cozy and tucked in away from it all!
