Animal House
I went outside the other night to look for shooting stars and when I turned back towards the house, this is what I saw, minus the quail. (I had been drawing quail in my sketchbook, so I added one). Also missing from photo: another dog, smaller birds, and the fish. No wonder it sometimes feels crowded.

Those are some happy animals. The cats are especially enjoyable, since I'm a cat person (as if you couldn't tell!).
